Beloit Woman Facing Battery Charges

A Beloit woman is facing charges after police say that she hit a man. According to the Beloit Daily News, 31-year old Amber Pollock is charged with substantial battery and disorderly conduct, after she reportedly struck a man. The man was taken to Beloit Memorial Hospital and was treated for facial injuries. According to the man, Pollock was intoxicated, and an argument occurred, reportedly over child care. No other information was provided.
