The City of Beloit, and Beloit Police Department have announced they are partnering with Community Action and will hold two neighborhood gatherings this month to work on creating a safer community. Two cookouts will be held at neighborhood parks, and Community Action representatives and Beloit Police Chief Andre Sayles will facilitate a discussion. The cookouts will be held June 15 at Vernon Park and June 16 at Summit Park, both from 6 to 7:30 PM. The splash pad will also remain open until 7:30 PM.
