Beloit School Board President Not Seeking Re-election

The Beloit School Board President announced he will not be seeking reelection. The Beloit Daily News reports that Kyle Larsen will not continue in the role he has served in for three years. Larsen was the chair of the staff and oversight committee for two years, as well as being on the personnel committee in 2020. Larsen also served as treasurer and clerk in addition to his role as president. Larsen’s announcement means there are now two open seats for the School Board in Beloit. The deadline for people interested in running for School Board is Tuesday at 5 PM. Call 608-361-4000 to see if the Kolak Education Center is open before coming to the facility.
