Beloit School Board Candidate Drops Out

A write-in candidate for the Beloit School Board race has dropped out. According to the BDN, Jacob Jacobson, declared on Wednesday he was withdrawing from the race. Jacobson said there was a family emergency that needed his full acknowledgement and attention. Jacobson was hoping to have full in-person learning and address academic and disciplinary issues. There remain four candidates on the ballot, the incumbent Spencer Anderson, and the three challengers Christine Raleigh, Sean Leavy and Gregg Schneider.
