Beloit Public Library Not Charging Late Fees for Youth and Teen Materials

According to the Beloit Public Library, they are no longer charging late fines on youth or teen books. However, this new rule is based on the type of item being checked out, and not the age of the borrower. Late fines will not be accessed for picture books, board books, easy readers, chapter books, audiobooks, magazines, movies, and music. This change is due to the library's early literacy efforts.
