Beloit Police Made Two Arrests Yesterday for Retail Theft

According to the Beloit Police Department, yesterday they responded to a report of a retail theft at about 6:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of Prairie Ave. When officers arrived on scene, they saw two male suspects who matched the description given by the reporting person on the phone. They were headed southbound on Prairie Ave. away from the business. Officers made contact with the two individuals at the intersection of Prairie Ave. and Shopiere Rd. Officers arrested 30 year old Bobby K. Morgan for retail theft, obstruction of an officer, and possession of drug paraphernalia. 58 year old Gregory V. Barrett was arrested for receiving stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a schedule II narcotic.
