According to an update from the Beloit Police Department, they are investigating a shooting that occurred just before 5 a.m. this morning in the 1200 block of Summit Ave. The victim is a 45 year old man from Janesville who was biking in the area when the driver of a vehicle shot him. The Janesville man was taken to the hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
