Beloit Police Investigating Report of Vehicle Engulfed in Flames

According to an update from the Greater Beloit Area Crime Stoppers, on Sunday at about 11:50 p.m. a caller reported that a vehicle had been abandoned at the intersection of Ninth St. and North St. that was fully engulfed in flames with an unknown male fleeing from the vehicle. After further investigation, it was determined the vehicle had intentionally been set on fire. The City of Beloit Police Department and City of Beloit Fire Department are investigating this as an arson incident.
