Beloit Police Find Illegal Drugs and Guns During Sunday Search Warrant

According to an update from the Beloit Police Department on Sunday at about 10:30 p.m. patrol officers and officers with the Violent Crimes Interdiction Team conducted a search warrant in the 700 block of Johnson St. after taking an individual, 24 year old Jonathon B. Brooks, into custody for a felony Department of Corrections warrant. Officers located illegal drugs and two handguns during the search. Brooks was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm, possession of cocaine, and possession of THC.
