Beloit Police Asking For Residents To Be Careful On Turtle Creek

Beloit Police are reminding the community to be safe on Turtle Creek in response to the incident that occurred yesterday. Police say the occupants of a canoe that was found astray on the creek were found safe but had a rough ride. The police say they have at least a few rescues at the creek every year because of the variation of the current in regards to the water depth. The department also says that there are lots of ticks out and about. More information is available on the City of Beloit Police Department on Facebook.
