Beloit residents 22 year old Shane Thomas Ploof and 26 year old Jalen Deshaun Martell Jackson are facing robbery charges after an incident that occurred on July 24. Specifically, Ploof is facing charges of robbery with use of force and two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping, while Jackson faces a charge of armed robbery.
On August 1, Ploof saw a bond amount set at $5 thousand. On August 8, Jackson’s bond was set at $2.5 thousand. They were ordered to have no contact with three involved victims and their residence, place of employment, vehicle, or elsewhere. Ploof and Jackson are not to contact each other at all.
Jackson has an upcoming court appearance today at 3 p.m., and Ploof has an upcoming court appearance on September 2 at 9:15 a.m.
