Beloit Memorial High School To Hold Optional In-Person Commencement
Beloit Memorial High School has announced it will have a hybrid model for its graduation ceremony on June 5. According to the BDN, the option is being given for students to attend either virtually or in-person. The in-person option will take place at Jacobson Field, and students will be able to walk the stage after using hand sanitizer. Everyone in attendance will be required to wear masks, and no hand shaking or diploma handovers will be allowed. Students will pick up their own diplomas. A limited number of guests will be allowed to attend, with capacity capped at 50% and each graduate expected to be limited to two guests. June 6 and June 12 are rain dates. Social distancing measures will be in place as well.
