Beloit Man Sentenced For Supplying Drugs

A Beloit man was sentenced in Rock County Circuit court for supplying drugs that led to a 2018 overdose. Chaz Harris had plead guilty to first degree reckless homicide/deliver drugs in the overdose death of Olivia Reigel. Beloit police responded to a Beloit grocery store parking lot in Dec of 2018 and found the victim unresponsive, she later died and the toxicity report show that the cause of death to be from acute, Fentanyl, heroin and other drugs in her system. Harris was arrested in Jan of 2019 and was sentenced to seven years in prison with ten years of post release supervision.
