Beloit Man Facing Charges Including Intentionally Pointing a Firearm at a Person

Beloit resident 21 year old Dandre Devin Simms is facing charges including intentionally pointing a firearm at a person, battery, disorderly conduct with use of a dangerous weapon, and misdemeanor bail jumping after an incident that occurred last month. He pleaded not guilty to all the charges on March 28. Also on March 28, he was ordered to have no contact with an involved individual, their residence, place of employment, vehicle or elsewhere. He also cannot possess any weapons. A cash bond of $1 thousand was set, but today it was modified to $1,150. A jury trial for this case will be set.
