Beloit Man Charged

A Beloit man has been formally charged after a January 1 police chase that resulted in his arrest. According to the BDN, 21-year old Brandon Prielipp fled from a Town of Beloit police officer in a Chevrolet Camaro while going around 80 in a 45 MPH zone. Speeds later increased to in excess of 100 MPH. Police then abandoned the chase for their safety. Prielipp later fled from officers on foot but was captured and taken into custody.
