According to an update from the City of Beloit Fire Department, yesterday the Beloit Police and Fire Commission approved the hiring of six probationary firefighters during their meeting. Additionally, Jason Griffin was promoted to Deputy Chief. The new fire fighters include Mariah Starr, Kailey Hessler, Kathy Anderson, Max Rude, Jerek Clifford, and Jeremiah Bresinger.
