Beloit City Council Considers Zoning Change

Beloit City Council will consider a zoning change at its meeting on June 7. The zoning change would include a category for ambulatory surgery centers. Zoning ordinances currently do not include these facilities, which were less common when the ordinance was adopted. City planning staff have developed an ordinance amendment proposal to define these facilities within the regulations. The Plan Commission will consider the ordinance proposal at its meeting on May 19. For more information visit the City of Beloit on Facebook.
