Beloit City Council Approves Underground Electric and Communication Easement

At the Monday evening Beloit City Council meeting, they approved an Underground Electric and Communication Easement across part of the City-owned property located at 534 Fourth Street. The easement will allow for the installation of underground electric lines, transformers, pedestals, and related equipment as part of a service upgrade project. A portion of this parking lot is privately owned, and the contractor is negotiating separately with the private property owner. The proposed easement document and legal description are attached below. To watch the full Beloit City Council meeting, visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVs5PITymRw.
