At the Monday evening Beloit City Council meeting, they approved an Underground Electric and Communication Easement across part of the City-owned property located at 534 Fourth Street. The easement will allow for the installation of underground electric lines, transformers, pedestals, and related equipment as part of a service upgrade project. A portion of this parking lot is privately owned, and the contractor is negotiating separately with the private property owner.
