Beloit Asking For Moving Snow Away From Fire Hydrants

With all of the snow recently received in the area, the City of Beloit Fire Department is reminding residents to shovel the area around fire hydrants. The department is asking for the area’s around the hydrant to be shoveled 5 feet away from the hydrants. This is being requested in order to allow the fire department easier access to the hydrants in the event of a fire where they would need to be used.
