Dozens of animals were saved from hoarding conditions in Jefferson County. WKOW reports that the animals were rescued and will be placed up for adoption after the Jefferson County Humane Society located the animals. The home was condemned by the health department and an investigation is ongoing. There were reports that the piles of animal waste, and filth, was knee high in some areas of the home.
