3 Injured in Beloit Shooting
Police in Beloit are investigating after multiple people were shot Thursday evening. The City of Beloit Police Department says that three people in their late teens were shot around 5:15 PM in the 1300 block of Nelson Avenue. All three individuals were transported to local hospitals and all three were males. Their condition remains unknown. BPD says this remains an active investigation and are asking people to stay away from the area. Police do not believe there is a larger risk to the community. In an update around 10 AM, Police have updated information on Thursday night’s triple shooting in Beloit. Officials say one person was released from the hospital and two others remain hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. The three victims, all males, were 16, 18 and 19 years old.
