CRACK THE CODE RULES
This contest will take place on the following event date(s): 10/1/20 and will be ongoing. This
promotion is subject to all federal, state, and local laws, and is void where prohibited by law.
The cash prize will start at $104.50. Each day the cash prize will grow by $10.45. There will be no
limit on the cash prize amount. When the prize is awarded to the “crack the code” winner, the cash
prize will begin the following weekday at $104.50 and continue to grow each day by $10.45.
Who May Enter & Who is Eligible:
This promotional contest is open to all individuals 18 and older with a valid federal or state
identification except the following classes of persons who are ineligible to participate:
1. Employees or family members of employees of CMC Media LLC, and any other promotional
sponsor otherwise associated with this event are not eligible to participate or win this contest.
2. Persons who have won another contest or promotion of any kind from CMC Media LLC
within 30 calendar days before the contest (or one year for a major prize won of $300 or
more) are not eligible to participate or win this contest.
How to Play:
Each contestant will each be given the opportunity to “crack the code” and choose a 4-digit random
number code. This will occur thought out the weekday when the “crack the code” sounder and
instructions are played. In order to be a valid attempt, each eligible contestant will do one of the
1. Call the station to recite their code choice on the air.
2. Text the code choice to our studio text line.
We will take 3 callers and 2 texters per day. Guessed code numbers that are not correct will go on
our website page within 24 hours of the guess.
In order to win the Grand Prize:
The winner of the grand prize will be the first person to “crack the code” by recite/texting the correct 4-
digit number in proper order.
CMC Media LLC reserves the right to change the aforementioned contest date(s) without notice. The
decision of CMC Media LLC management in the interpretation of these rules is final. CMC Media
LLC, their sponsors, their representatives, agencies and employees are not responsible for any
liabilities arising directly or indirectly from the award or use of this prize. CMC Media LLC, their
sponsors, their representatives, agencies and employees are not responsible for any changes or
difficulties in travel or prize delivery. The decision of CMC Media LLC management in the
interpretation of these rules is final. By participating, persons agree to be bound by the decisions of
the judges and the official contest rules.
